This film looks into the trials held in Paris, Copenhagen and Stockholm in defence of the moral rights of the filmmakers John Huston, Sydney Pollack and Vilgot Sjoman, for cases of electronic colouring, panning-scanning and commercial breaks in television. Other sequences show children watching “Fort Apache” by John Ford in the fifties to introduce the subject of dubbing and a situation in the Vatican of the fifteenth century is the conclusion of a report by Jules Dassin on the new censorship invented by companies such as MovieMask. It also deals with issues related to the Final Cut and the first meeting held in 1956 in Paris by filmmakers from all over the world to defend their rights.
