| THE GOYAS ON FILMOTECH.COM The countdown has begun. Sunday, February 14, the traditional day for lovers, is the "romantic" day chosen for one of the most fiercely competitive Goya Awards galas in recent years. Who will get the statuette of the bust of the most illustrious Spanish painter? Will it be that Victoria who doesn?t stop dancing? Some Argentine eyes whose secrets cannot be told? A virgin philosopher who passes through the Agora? Or the crude occupant of the most dangerous Cell? It's in the cards, but being held on Valentine's Day, who says it has to be a contest between two? Meanwhile, you can get the popcorn ready and get up-to-date with our Goya Awards 2010 Special Feature. You?ll find reviews, trailers and trivia about the leading films going into the 2010 gala. But, to make a safe bet, it never hurts to take a look back at previous Goya hits. So, rising to the occasion, at filmotech.com we have prepared for you an assorted "box" of some of the most awarded films from previous years. And, what's more, the first one you choose is FREE.
If you want to complete the most romantic and cinematographic weekend of the year, don?t miss going to the cinema. Waiting for you there is Benicio del Toro in the flesh (couldn?t be said better) in The Wolfman, the celebrated remake of the Lon Chaney classic. If you prefer Spanish films, we recommend Nacidas para Sufrir [Born to Suffer ], a local-flavoured drama, but filled with black humour in which Miguel Albadalejo is back directing his favourite leading lady Adriana Ozores. The most fashion-conscious will no doubt no want to miss the film debut of designer Tom Ford, A Single Man, starring Colin Firth, which has become a surprise hit among the Oscar nominees. And, of course, Hollywood could not fail to treat us with a film made for the 14th of February celebration, Valentine's Day, filled with big stars like Jessica Alba, Ashton Kutcher, Anne Hathaway and Julia Roberts in a kind of big-screen American version of the Spanish hit TV series "Escenas de matrimonio".
And, as always, you have news, premieres, box-office rankings, films showing now... All cinema for you on filmotech.com. Come and see us. |
