On Wednesday, we were given the sad news of the passing away of one of Spanish cinema´s most beloved comedians, Antonio Ozores. On filmotech.com we honour him with a selection of his films, the vast majority directed by his brother, Mariano Ozores. Starting yesterday, cinema goers in Spain have been able to see Ridley Scott´s new work with Russell Crowe, Robin Hood, which opened the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday. In addition, arriving today is Kynodontas [Dogtooth], the risky, original offering by Greek filmmaker Giorgos Lanthimos; Two Lovers, a romantic drama with Joaquin Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow; and Rose et Noir, a European historical comedy starring Gerard Jugnot and Juan Diego, who we´ve prepared a feature article about on filmotech.com.
