The entry period for films for the Clermont-Ferrand international short film festival and market, a major event on the international circuit, concludes on 20th November. The ninth edition will have broad Spanish representation in the 'Shorts from Spain' programme.

With the aim of providing a professional setting solely for Spanish short films, organizers and collaborators of this programme are setting up a stand prepared for meetings and screenings, along with organizing special projections and gatherings for professionals throughout the week of the film market. In these presentations, the best recently-produced Spanish short films will be promoted and circulated among buyers, distributors, and international programmers.

Furthermore, producers, distributors and other Spanish professionals interested in participating in the professional market will have the information and advice they need concerning the operations of the market, accreditations, professional contacts, travel to and lodging in the French city of Clermont-Ferrand.

Persons interested in submitting documentation and materials should do so by 20th November 2009.
