On 26th October, with the showing of the animated film Persepolis, the 52nd Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid (Seminci) [52nd Valladolid International Film Week], got under way and will be on until 3rd November in the capital of Spains Castilla-Leon province, Valladolid. Apart from the yearly sections, such as Tiempo de Historia [Time for History], Punto de Encuentro, Spanish Cinema [Spanish Cinema Meeting Point] or Escuelas de Cine [Film Schools], there are series dedicated to the producer Alberto Grimaldi, backstage design in Spanish cinema, and courtroom films.
