James Bond fans know well that Blofeld is the worst villain par excellence in addition to being the character who inspired Doctor Evil en Austin Powers .

This popular character from the Bond saga could be back to annoy Agent 007 in the new film of the Franchise. If so, his return to the big screen will come nearly 30 years since his last appearance.

Ernst Stavro Blofeld, boss of the SPECTRE crime organization, who Bond has been pursuing since Casino Royale , could be personified by Michael Sheen, who starred in Frost/Nixon . According to Peter Morgan, screen writer for the film and close friends of the actor, "Michael has been a Bond fan since he was a kid, and it will be a dream come true for him to play this role.
