Anyone who claims acting isnt a dangerous profession should ask Cate Blanchett. She was performing in A Streetcar Named Desire in Sydney when suddenly she received a hard knock on the head.
In the middle of a performance her colleague, as part of the play, threw a radio at her head. Blanchett couldnt dodge in time and was hit hard.
"She kept on acting for about 30 seconds, and then before going on to the next scene the lights came on and the producers asked everyone to vacate the theatre due to technical difficulties, stated a witness.
Apparently Blanchett started bleeding from her wound and was unable to continue the piece. A spokesperson for the Sydney theatre states that the actress is perfectly well and is performing again.
