As much as it may be desired by audiences, the fifth part of "Terminator" has not yet been confirmed. The new versions of this classic directed by McG began with Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins , a film which has been quite successful, although, from what we has been said about it, has fallen somewhat short of expectations.

Some time ago, McG, Michael Ferris and John Brancato (the scriptwriters) said that they have enough ideas to make two more films. Whats more, theyve already talked about setting the next film in London in 2011. John Connor will go back into the past to get help from two soldiers to take on Skynet.

Christian Bale has confirmed that, for the moment, he has made no commitment to continue the saga. "Weve had no talks about it or discussions about it", Bale stated at a press conference presenting his latest project, Public Enemies , which he is co-starring in with Johnny Depp. Moreover, if the sequels are finally made without assurance of Bales presence, everything will depend on the script.
