This young actor wants to get behind the cameras when he has finished filming Harry Potter

The actors from Harry Potter are already making plans for when the successful saga draws to a close. At the moment, they are shooting the second part of the final episode, which will be out in cinemas in 2011.

Daniel Radcliffe and his companions have grown up with the magicians adventures and, while they are very fond of Harry Potters world, they are wanting to do other things. While Emma Watson is still planning to go to university, Radcliffe would like to stay in the world of cinema, though on the other side of the fence.

Although there are several producers and directors offering him parts in various films, his dream come true would be to direct. He has decided to focus on his future career as a director and in fact, already took on some of the scenes in the last episode of Harry Potter.

"Daniel has told friends he is looking for a project to direct when he finally waves goodbye to Hogwarts. He has been approached by a number of producers. He wants to direct something gritty and hard-hitting. David (Barron, producer of Harry Potter) has been giving him guidance on how to reach his goal," a source told the Sun newspaper.
