The saga that revived the horror genre returns to the big screen with a new entry.

Actor David Arquette, police agent Dewey Riley in the horror saga Scream , is looking forward to playing his character again in the latest entry in the film series. This a very special to him because it was in the filming of the first in the saga that he met his wife, Courtney Cox (who played Monica Geller in the popular TV series "Friends").

As Arquette has confirmed, his wife will also have a leading role in the new film, playing the hard-nosed TV reporter Gale Weathers.

The actor has given more details about the new film. "We are going to make Scream 4 , he said, adding, Kevin Williamson is writing the script at this moment, and hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct. Craven was responsible for the second and third parts of the hit saga.

David is excited about the idea and doesnt hide it. " I fell in love with my wife on Scream , so the opportunity to bring [Deputy Dewey Riley] back to life and for my wife to play that really bitchy character again, its just going to be really fun.

What David hasnt been able to confirm so far is if Neve Campbell will also appear in the new film. I hope Neve does it, he says, I really hope so.
