Christopher Nolan, the director and scriptwriter who brought the Batman saga back to life, has a new science fiction project in mind. The movie, entitled Inception, will be out in the summer of next year and will star Leonardo DiCaprio as the hero. Produced by Warner, shooting will begin in a few months, although little is known about the story as yet. Apparently, Christopher Nolan signed a million-dollar contract to bring his own script to the big screen, and the studios have defined the project as a contemporary science fiction film about the architecture of the mind. After directing Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, Nolan has the chiropteran superheros followers on tenterhooks as he still hasnt confirmed whether he will undertake the third part of the saga he revitalised; however, considering the filmmakers plans, its a fair bet that if he does direct it, it wont be in the cinemas until 2011.
DiCaprio forges ahead, unstoppable, in his film career. Over the last few months he has premiered Body of Lies, together with Russell Crowe, and Revolutionary Road, in which he was reunited with Kate Winslet ten years after Titanic. In addition, we are awaiting the release of Shutter Island, by Martin Scorsese, one of his favourite directors and with whom he has worked on several occasions.
