The Ciudad de la Luz studios host the shooting of Por la Gracia de Luis.

The Alicante-based studios Ciudad de la Luz today were the site of the filming of Por la Gracia de Luis, a cinematographic work which director Jose Luis Garcia Sanchez defines as something more than a film, a documentary or a tribute; a journey through the films of an accepted master: Luis Garcia Berlanga".

In attendance were about twenty of the actors Berlanga used most often in his films, most importantly Guillermo Montesinos, Juanjo Puigcorbe, Violeta Cela, Antonio Gamero, Monica Randall and Javier Gurruchaga, to name but a few.

The manager of the Ciudad de la Luz studios, Elsa Martinez, stressed the importance of Berlanga in Spanish cinema and the pride our Alicante studios have in welcoming such an outstanding group of actors. Por la Gracia de Luis is being produced by Uhura Films and will be premiered at the next Mostra Festival in Valencia.
