EGEDA ANNOUNCES THE FIVE FINALISTS FOR THE 13TH JOSE MARIA FORQUE CINEMATOGRAPHIC AWARD

Solitary Fragments], produced by Wanda Vision, Fresdeval Films and In Vitro Films: the best production of 2007 will be among these five nominees announced by actress Belen Rueda at a press conference on April 15, 2008 at the FNAC Forum in which she was accompanied by EGEDA President Enrique Cerezo. On 6th May, the awards gala for the 13th Jose Maria Forque Cinematographic Award will be held at the
Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Madrid. The name of the winning film, awarded prize money of 30,050 euros, will be announced at the ceremony, which will be very musical and full of surprises. The gala MCs will be actor Jose Coronado and singer/ballerina D´Noe. At the same event, the winner of the 6th EGEDA Special Award for best feature-length documentary or animation film will also be announced, an award which comes with 6,000 euros in prize money. The EGEDA
Medalla de Oro [Gold Medal], which the associations Board of Directors has been granting to an audiovisual producer for lifetime career achievement for the past six years, will go to Jose Luis Borau, a man who has done everything in the film world over the 35 years of his cinematographic career.
