Actor, musician, presenter, entrepreneur Now Emilio Aragon has joined the ranks of the new Spanish film directors. His first film, entitled Pajaros de papel, tells the story of a family of actors during the early post-Spanish Civil War years, and the cast includes Imanol Arias, Carmen Machi and the young Nerea Camacho, heroine and winner of an Oscar for her performance in Camino. However, Emilio Aragon had already made his film debut with the childrens comedy in Carlitos and the Chance of a Lifetime.
Shooting of the film, the script of which was written by Aragon himself, will take place at the end of March and beginning of April in various streets of Almagro. For example, Elvira Street and Chile Street, as well as the main square, the Santo Domingo Plaza and opposite the Municipal Theatre, among other locations, will be used.
During Friday and Saturday of this week, the producer of the film has organised auditions to select extras who would like to take part. Auditions will be held in lecture room 3 of the Universidad Popular de Almagro.
