Film Shooting of Una hora mas en Canarias by David Serrano Now Underway

Claudia, an attractive thirty-five year old woman, has everything: a pretty cafe in the centre of Madrid, a husband, an attractive son she adores and an even more handsome lover. Her life couldn’t be more perfect, until her lover leaves her for another woman. But Claudia is not prepared to let him go, so with the help of her sister Monica, she thinks up a “simple” plan to get him back.

With this plot full of twists, lies and crazy situations, David Serrano (scriptwriter of El otro lado de la cama [The Other Side of the Bed ] and Los dos lados de la cama [The 2 Sides of the Bed ], amongst others, and director and writer of Dias de futbol [Soccer Days ] and Dias de Cine ) has started shooting his third feature-length film in Tenerife. This is a production from Telespan 2000 and La Zona Films, co-produced by the Columbian company Dynamo, with an initial budget of 4 million Euros.

The director is back on cinema screens with another romantic comedy which, once again, includes musical numbers full of humour and fantasy, starring Quim Gutierrez (AzulOscuroCasiNegro [DarkBlueAlmostBlack ]), the Columbian actresses Angie Cepeda (El mal ajeno ) and Juana Acosta (Hospital Central ), and TV actress Miren Ibarguren (Escenas de Matrimonio ). The cast also includes some other famous faces such as the Argentine actor Eduardo Blanco (El hijo de la novia Son of the Bride ), Kiti Manver (Abrazos rotos [Broken Embraces ]) and Isabel Ordaz (Aqui no hay quien viva ).
