We can now see the first images from the anxiously awaited sequel to Iron Man, also starring Robert Downey Jr., and due to be released in May 2010.

There is still one year to go before the premiere but the filming of Iron Man 2 is constantly in the news. The main cast has now been selected and includes some big Hollywood names like Don Cheadle, Mickey Rourke playing the villain Crimson Dynamo and, above all, Scarlett Johansson, who is to play Black Widow. Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow are back as the protagonists of the second of the three films theyve signed up for, playing the popular comic book hero and his assistant, Pepper Potts. In the clip, for now, we can see Stark at his computer working on his designs and in the background some suits of Iron Man armour. One of these will be worn by the character in the sequel and, according to the director, is much more flexible and rather more stylized than the last one.
