The green ogre returns to live out his last animated adventure.

Is it possible to imagine, eight years after bursting onto the scene, life without that green ogre, as adorable as he is repellent, who has delighted millions of viewers around the world? Well, that seems to be the plot of the fourth and final part of Shrek: after rescuing the once beautiful Princess Fiona, marrying her and becoming king of a of a kingdom far, far away, and father to three offspring as green and lovable as he is, Shrek will fall into the trap of the evil dwarf Rumpelstiltskin, who will take him away to a parallel universe in which he and Fiona never met. The promotional machinery for the film, to be titled Forever After , is getting into gear with the release of the first still from the film due to premiere next summer.
