Actors Luis Tosar for Cell 211 [Celda 211 ], Marc Soto for Petit Indi, and Ricardo Darin for The Secret in Their Eyes [El secreto de sus ojos ], and actresses Leticia Herrero for Gordos, Lola Dueñas for Me, Too [Yo, Tambien and Nausicaa Bonin for Three Days with the Family [Tres dies amb la familia are the finalists for the new Best Performance Award which EGEDA (the Spanish Audiovisual Producers Rights Management Association), along with the Spanish Performing Artists Rights Management Society AISGE, has created.

From these names, a jury made up of journalists, actors and producers will choose the winners in each of the two categories. The winners will be announced at the Jose Maria Forque Awards gala on January 28, 2010.

The winner of each award will receive 3,000 Euros in prize money and an official statuette.

EGEDA has decided to establish this annual award in recognition of the contributions made by the performers in the Spanish productions vying for the Jose Maria Forque Award. With this aim, one prize for best male performance and another for best female performance will be given, without distinguishing between lead and supporting roles, among all of the participating Spanish feature films released between December 1, 2008 and December 1, 2009.

The gala being held at Madrids Palacio de Congresos will be broadcast on TVE (Spanish Television) on January 28.
