When a film takes in more than 600 million dollars world-wide, one doesnt want to miss the opportunity to get as much out of it as possible. This is what is taking place with Hancock, a film with the biggest money-making star in Hollywood, Will Smith.
Sony Pictures, the producer, has now found the script-writes to put together the storyline. They are Dama Fierro and Glen Mazzarra, joining director Peter Berg, who also made the first part. Smith is also making his contribution to the story.
The filmmaker has given us an advance on what we can expect from the new project. We recall that Hancock (Smith) is a rather strange immortal super-hero who becomes mortal when he is with a goddess (Charlize Theron). Berg explains, "This time there may be another god apart from them. If two gods can make themselves into mortals, just imagine what we can do with a third who is in disagreement. In the mythology of Hancock, all of the gods apart from our heroes have died except for our heroes, so there will be an element of surprise."
Although the producer is hopeful that both Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman will be participating in the sequel, their presence hasnt yet been 100% confirmed.
