Harvey Keitel is joining the cast of the sequel Little Fockers , the third instalment in the hit series Meet the Parents , in which Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller will be back.

According to Hollywood Reporter magazine, actor Harvey Keitel is joining the cast for the film Little Fockers , third part of the hit series of Meet the Parents , in which Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller are returning in leading roles. The long-time actor (who we havent seen on the big screen since 2007) will play a contractor employed by Gaylord Focker, the character played by Stiller.

Universal Pictures and Tribeca are producing the film directed by Paul Weitz, director of American Pie , replacing Jay Roach, who is totally immersed in his new project, Dinner for Schmucks , set for release in 2010.

Returning in the cast will be Barbra Streisand, Teri Polo and Owen Wilson.

70 year-old Harvey Keitel had his debut in the Seventh Art in 1967 with the film Whos That Knocking at My Door and was an Oscar nominee for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in 1991 for his performance in Bugsy.
