Nominees have been announced for the 65th Annual Golden Globe Awards, the prestigious awards given out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to the best film and television productions and professionals. For motion pictures, the film with the highest number of nominations (7) is Atonement. Among the people in the running for a Golden Globe are two Spaniards, actor Javier Bardem and composer Alberto Iglesias, for their work in two American films, No Country for Old Men and The Kite Runner, respectively. For TV, Damages and Longford are the most nominated productions.
