Jennifer Aniston doesnt like being an actress. Or at any rate, acting doesnt interest her as much as her real dream: to be a film director.

In an interview she gave to Star magazine, Aniston said she was working on getting behind the cameras as soon as possible. Theres just one thing missing: the right project.

And meanwhile, work is piling up for Brad Pitts former wife. At the moment she is working on a romantic comedy, a genre which suits her to a T. Entitled The Baster, the film is being shot in New York, and co-stars Jason Bateman.

Whats more, we will soon see her in The Management, playing an independent woman who cant decide who the best man for her is: millionaire ex-boyfriend Woody Harrelson, or a weird guy who falls in love with her after touching her behind (Steve Zahn). In addition to these there is Brand New Day, also pending release.

As well as these films, she is supposed to be going to take part in the filming of Bounty Hunter, with Gerard Butler. If so, Aniston will play a journalist who escapes from her ex-husband, a professional assassin, after he is hired to kill her. Curiously, this movie could be a kind of remake of Mr and Mrs Smith, the film which led to her divorce from Brad Pitt after he fell in love with Angelina Jolie. One of lifes little ironies.
