Kenneth Branagh has a difficult job ahead of him in directing the next film from Marvel Studios, the film adaptation of the comic Thor". The film is about the story of a handicapped medical student who, while on a trip to Norway, witnesses the arrival of aliens intent on invading the Earth. Upon being discovered, they hide out in a cave, where they find a wooden cane which turns out to have magic powers. Each time they hit the floor with the cane, it becomes Thor, the god of storms.
A few days ago, it was announced that the leading role could possibly go to Alexander Skarsgard, the blonde actor from the new series "True Blood" and that he was seen dining with Branagh.
Now, all indications are that the films bad guy will be the handsome Josh Hartnett, who will play the character of Loki, Thors adopted brother. For the moment, nothing has been confirmed, although it appears that negotiations are well underway.
