The short film "Rosa dos Ventos" by Santiagues Jairo Iglesias, winner of the Mestre Mateo best short film award for his previous work, premiered yesterday at the Auditorio de Galicia. Apart from the film itself, the High Definition projection system 1080i also premiered yesterday in Galicia. It marked the first time a short film could be seen in the region with this quality of digital projection, and the 200 who attended were able to enjoy a sharpness and quality of images never seen before in the projection of short films there. The distributor Mr Misto Films thus took a step ahead in the projection sector by becoming the first company to project a short film in HD, and is planning to implement this system little by little in its distribution network and in the premieres of its productions.
