Portman will be acting with Danny McBride and James Franco in this comedy from Universal Pictures, due to be produced in Ireland as from July.

The film will be directed by filmmaker David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express) based on a script by McBride and Ben Best. It is about an arrogant, lazy prince who, together with his brother, has to go on a quest to save his kingdom and his brothers fiancee.

However, he encounters a stumbling block on the way when he falls in love with the warrior princess, played by the Israeli actress.

We will also see Portman soon in Joseph Gordons film Brothers, sharing the billing with Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal.
