On 18 November, two days before the official US premiere, the second part of Twilight will be out in Spanish cinemas.

France and Spain are the countries chosen for this premiere, expected to attract thousands. On 18 November the fans of Stephanie Meyers vampiric saga will be able to see what happens next in the passionate romance between Bella Swan and the vampire Edward Cullen.

In this second part, their unconditional love will be sorely tested in a variety of ways by new, enigmatic characters, emerging from the ancestral werewolf clan or the terrible Volturi, the oldest and most powerful vampire family in the world.

Directed by Chris Weitz (The Golden Compass ), Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be joined by new faces, for example Dakota Fanning (I Am Sam ). Shooting took place during most of the first half of the year, using locations in Vancouver, Canada and Montepulciano, in Italy.

The early release was announced by Aurum Producciones, the distributor of the movie in Spain. According to the press statement, The persistence, fidelity and growing interest of Spanish fans, as well as the support of producers Summit Entertainment in this decision, were the crucial factors which made it possible for Spain, along with France, to be the first countries in the world to premiere the film.
