In the middle o fan economic crisis, both the Hollywood studios as well as the most popular actors are looping for a place in the world of comic books now that its proven to be one of the most lucrative for cinema. Spanish actor Oscar Jaenada, known for his work in Camaron and Life on the Edge, has been given his second part in a Hollywood production, following on Che: Part 2. His latest will be the big-screen adaptation of the DC-Vertigo comic "The Losers", which Warner Bros plans to release in 2011.
Jaenada will be playing Cougar, one of the heroes and will be joined by Jeffrey Dean Morgan at the leader Clay, Idris Elba, his second-in-command, Chris Evans as Jensen, Columbus Short as Pooch, Jason Patrick as Max, and Zoe Saldana as Aisha.
Sylvain White is directing this film about a group of CIA agents who, deceived by their own government, plot to get revenge.
The first publication of the comic was issued around the time of the Second World War. Created by Robert Kanigher, it has been an ongoing feature of the DC Comics book "Our Fighting Forces" since 1970.
