The film adaptation of the American series was a big hit. Sarah Jessica Parker, producer and protagonist of the film, didnt want to pass up the announced opportunity to a do a part 2.

The director of the film, Michael Patrick King, will be back, as it seems he did a good job with the first adaptation. For the moment, the script of the new film, also being taken care of by Kings firm, remains unknown.

Sex in the City 2 will of course have its full leading cast: Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon. In addition, numerous cameos have been spoken of, including those of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera or Jennifer Lopez.

What will change in part 2 will be the luxuries and the brand names. The girls of New York are also suffering the economic crisis, fleeing the designer shops to do their shopping in more modest and affordable boutiques.
