The short film "Flores en el Parque (o los primeros besos), by script-writer and director Mariel Macia, has won the award for Best Short Film Drama at the QCinema International Film Festival in June 2007 in Fort Worth, Texas, USA. This award has been added to other short film awards it has received, having won the publics choice award for Best Short Film and Best Spanish Work at the LesGaiCineMad 2006 international film festival, Chameleon of the Official Jury for Best Short Film in Video at the Cine Inedito de Islantilla international film festival (Huelva, Spain), and "Best Female Performance" for Diana Diez at the Dunas Short Film Festival (Fuerteventura, Spain). "Flores en el parque" is a story placed by Isabel Sanchez and Diana Diez which tenderly shows the encounters of two women who are getting to know each other in a park.
