New film by Guy Ritchie continues to be promoted on the Web

Sherlock Holmes is a film which reinvents the famous detective created by Conan Doyle. Guy Ritchie has made the most dynamic version of this character from Victorian England. The lead role will be played by Robert Downey Jr. On this occasion, he and his faithful partner Watson (Jude Law) are participating in a battle with an enemy who is a threat not only to London, but rather to all of Englands population.

The film, which will be released on 25th December in North America and on 15th January 2010 in Spain, has already had various advance promotions. Apart from trailers, there have been posters of the leading pair of characters. Now, we are being shown Irene Adler and Lord Blackwood, that is to say, the girl and the bad guy.

The former is being played by Rachel McAdams, (State of Play ) and the latter is being performed by Mark Strong, an actor which has previously worked under Ritchie in Revolver and Rocknrolla.
