Shooting of the second episode of the saga has now finished and the director has released a few stills.

Many, many fans are anxiously awaiting the new Iron Man film. Jon Favreau, the director, is trying to appease them by publishing a few photos from the shoot on his Twitter page.

There we can see Robert Downey Jr. encased in his iron armour, although minus his helmet. Other scenes also appear, like that in which Nick Furia, played by Samuel L. Jackson, confronts Tony Stark, Iron Mans alter ego, with the face of Downey Jr.

But theres still one more still which will leave everyone with their mouths open: the one of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. Favrearu has said that he has never seen a crew fall speechless so suddenly, so it must be absolutely jaw-dropping.

The cast of this film is, in a word, luxurious, as in addition to those mentioned above and Gwyneth Paltrow, we can also see Oscar-nominee Mickey Rourke.

Iron Man 2, based on the script by Justin Theroux, will be released in cinemas on May 7, 2010.
