The star of Lobezno has been invited by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the American organization which selects the winners of the Oscar Awards, to become an honorary member, along with actors Anne Hathaway (The Devil Wears Prada ), Michael Cera (Juno ), James Franco, Michelle Williams (Brokeback Mountain ) and the director of Slumdog Millionaire , Danny Boyle.

The organizations president Sid Ganis, said, "These filmmakers have, over the course of their careers, captured the imagination of audiences around the world. It's this kind of talent and creativity that make up the Academy, and I welcome each of them to our ranks. "
