After starring together in the political satire Charlie Wilsons War under the direction of Mike Nichols, a critical treatment of the war in Afghanistan, renowned actors Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts will again attempt to break box-office records with a comedy written, directed, starring, and produced by Hanks himself. The film is about a mature man who is forced to change his life as a loser with the help of a woman who appears in it.
The production company headed by Hanks along with his business partner Gary Goetzman, Playtone, will take the reins of this funny and promising film. Shooting is scheduled to begin in April in Los Angeles.
53 year-old Tom Hanks hasnt directed a film since That Thing You Do in 1996. Meanwhile, Julia Roberts continues in the making of Eat, Pray, Love, a film in which she co-stars in some scenes with Javier Bardem.
