The Festival of Spanish Cinema, Cinespaña, is to be held in Toulouse from 2 to 11 October.

The scheduling has been announced for the fourteenth Toulouse Festival of Spanish Cinema, which will take place in the French city and other places in the Midi-Pyrenees region from 2 to 11 October. Eight Spanish feature-length films, twelve documentaries and thirteen shorts will compete at the event, which is the main showcase for our cinema in our neighbouring country.

This year the festival will be paying several tributes, to actress Emma Suarez and Catalonian cinema, represented by director Marc Recha and the Barcelona Film School. Also showing will be the latest film hits from distributors Mima Fleurent: Mondays in the Sun , Family , 14 km and Elsa & Fred.

As usual, the courtyard of the Toulouse Cinemateque will be the focus point for the festival, with meetings, debates, apero-concerts, the restaurant and the tapas bar. The event enjoys the collaboration of the Cinemateque de Toulouse, the Cervantes Institute, la Casa de España , the ESAV, the ABC, UGC and Utopia cinemas and others throughout the region.
