The director of Darkbluealmostblack is back with Antonio de la Torre, unrecognisable after his drastic weight gain to play his part. This comedy-drama will premiere in Spain in September.

If Robert De Niro could do so much to prepare for his part in Raging Bull, Antonio de la Torre wants to do no less and has taken to heart his aim to be the character he is playing. With this trailer, youll get a preview of this film, which brings together five stories revolving around obesity, with the common thread being the therapy group their protagonists are in. Its a place where they arent actually going to lose weight, but rather, find out why they are overweight and why they dont like themselves. Being overweight in the end is the least of their problems.

Young director Daniel Sanchez-Arevalo uses obesity as a metaphor to reflect those things which we have to swallow day after day, and which grow inside of us those things we have difficulty expressing, dealing with, or even accepting.

The director, who had great success with the critics and the public alike with his debut film Azuloscurocasinegro [Darkbluealmostblack ], once again has his customary collaborators, Antonio de la Torre and Raul Arevalo, while at the same time incorporating other popular film and TV personalities like Roberto Enriquez and Veronica Sanchez.

For the films premiere, we have to wait until next September.
