Josh Berger, current Warner president for the United Kingdom, has been named President of Warner Bros. Entertainment Spain. He will take his new position on 1st December 2009, bringing together all of Warner Bros. business management in Spain. Furthermore, he will work closely with the local Warner executives with the aim of developing a growth plan for the company, identifying areas with investment and profit potential as well as taking advantage of the strengths and opportunities in all divisions.
Berger has been working more than 20 years for the company, and for five years in the 90s, he was General Manager Warner Bros. International Television Distribution in Spain and Portugal.
He established the country management role seven years ago with such success that we now have a Country Manager in six major international territories. This expanded position is recognition of his achievements in the UK and his in-depth knowledge and experience of the enormously important Spanish market, stated Barry Meyer, Chairman and CEO of Warner Bros.
Josh Berger has a degree from Harvard University and studied in the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Whats more, he is fluent in Spanish, English, Italian, French, and Portuguese.
