Ski enthusiasts from various countries: Switzerland, Italy, Norway, Canada, plus their trainers, arrive in Barcelona for an international ski competition in La Molina. Together with Catalans and Madrilenians they explore the Gothic Quarter before going to the Town Hall for an official reception. All strike up friendships, especially Nuria and Ramon. They meet in the port on board a luxury yacht, which leads Nuria to believe Ramons social standing is higher than it really is; in fact he is a crew member employed by Joaquin, Nurias fiance. Ramon, overwhelmed by her beauty, accompanies her around the city and then joins the expedition to La Molina. Joaquins arrival complicates events further, particularly as he gets on extremely well with Ramon. A series of amusing situations ensue, culminating in the ski championship. At the communal New Years Eve dinner, various budding loves blossom until the next day, when some will stay in Barcelona and others will have to return home.
