In many hours of conversations, Oliver Stone challenges Castro to explain himself and the actions of his government - actions which were condemned worldwide, further isolating Cuba and increasing its sense of siege. Last Spring, following a wave of hijackings, three hijackers were arrested, tried and executed. Almost at the same time over 75 "political dissidents" (including several "independent journalists") were arrested, convicted and imprisoned for as much as 25 years.
