Three rather dim-witted thieves are hired by a more cunning colleague to rob a jewellers in order to steal one extremely valuable stone. Despite working out an elaborate plan, our heroes decide to steal it for themselves, which causes the plan to fail. The leader of the operation discovers where the real jewel is kept and attempts to steal it, but then realises his best option is to marry its owners daughter. Naturally, on the wedding day, the house is invaded by robbers and although his old friends try to get there first, they will have to outwit the creme de la creme of the profession.
