Julio has always lived with his mother. He spends most of his time at home, surrounded by bonsais. Time and time again, he attaches and removes the wires of their branches, carefully trimming their leaves. His mother teaches him to control the way the small trees grow and their growth rates. In this monotonous daily routine, Julio often feels like he too is being held together by invisible wires. One day, he meets Chiyoko again, who some time earlier left her mark one night. Once again, they share a secret which Julio promises never to reveal to anyone.
