For a week in summer, a series of people meet for hours each day in a park of a large city. Among others is Leticia, a parking attendant, who has a fiery relationship with an anonymous speaker on her radio. Also in the group are Iñaki and Moises, two members of a peculiar church, one of them in love with a 16-year-old-girl. We see Silvio, a retiree who spends hours in the park with his books and a bicycle he doesnt ride. And, then theres Gallo, who prepares for a game of checkers with the worlds best player, with which he intends to change destiny. These and other characters such as Braulio, the ice-cream vender, or Pako and Remi, who clear out the same park, are all involved, without knowing it, in the outcome of the game.
