Perez is a long distance bus driver. He always does the same route. One day he goes, the next he returns. He is forty years old and doesnt have any friends. He is shy, serious, a little bit clumsy, and he barely talks. This is why everyone calls him the mute. On his daily route he goes through several towns, always repeating the same movements: he says hello in the same way, he sits in the same place, and eats the same food every day. But, in one of the stations there is something that touches him. Nobody knows about it, and he would never dare to admit it. In this town lives Romina. She is the towns teacher. Her simplicity hides an attractive and mysterious woman. She lives in a house on the edge of town. Only those who know about her past can understand why she has never been seen with a man. She is not good at relationships. The children, her pupils, seem to be her only connection with the external world. Only the stop of the bus in her town, once a day, calls her attention. The ministry of education asks all the teachers to have a routine medical test. As she cant travel because of her job, she asks Perez to take the jar. Perez goes, looking carefully after the jar all the time, but someone suddenly gets on the bus, he gets scared and lets the jar drop and break. He cant believe what he has done. He doesnt want to let Romina down and finds an absurd solution. This is the beginning of a very special love story between these peculiar characters which can get a smile from us despite their worst conflicts.
